Meeting Elvis when I was 14 changed the course of my life. Sure, that was young, but he left Germany [where they had met] to return to the US not long after. We stayed in touch for two years before we saw each other again. He was a gentleman in all ways while we courted.

My fear is that people will forget about Elvis. I feel a responsibility for keeping his legacy alive. You’ll never see his sort of stardom again. He was so authentic and, in lots of ways, innocent. What you saw was what you got.

BIM:

Priscilla is right!

Since EPE started the ETA shows, they have made a boat load of money but Elvis Presley’s image has taken a huge fall.  He has became more of a cartoon figure than ever.

But who could blame EPE, it brings in the money.

Another down fall is the fact, that there are very few main stream CD releases.

Remember waiting for a new Elvis release? Me too! It’s not the same.

The FTD label has been amazing for hard core fans who know where to buy these cds.

And Even more financially successful for Ernst and Roger.

But it rejects the main stream audience.

Causing Elvis not to be relevant anymore.

Then Priscilla comes in, and these philharmonic CDs are smash hits!

And once again, the average American is talking about and buying Elvis again!

Thank You Priscilla!

Back to The Guardain’s interview with Priscilla:

Our family has always been very close. My parents are still alive: they’re 90 and 91. They live with me and while it’s an honor to still have them in my life, watching them get older makes me feel really sad.

Elvis would have found modern times difficult. He was an intensely private man who was quite protected by his inner circle. The way he lived then wouldn’t be possible in 2016. Our lives – whether you’re famous or not – are so public now.

In all of it, I managed to become my own person. When you are around that level of fame for so long, it’s easy to slip into the shadow until you almost don’t exist. I had to make a conscious decision not to let that happen to me.

Oh, I hate getting older. Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying. Who really wants to grow old and die? My twin grandchildren are only eight and I would love to see them grow to adulthood and see who they become, but there’s a chance that won’t happen, and that’s deeply annoying.

I really wish people would stop asking me what my favorite Elvis song is.

Mike Walker of The National Enquirer reports… It was a hunka hunka burning old love when Priscilla Presley turned 100 shades of furious at a pal’s Hollywood party!

Priscilla was on the dance floor when a fat, balding, abrasive 60-ish movie producer she’d met just moments before elbowed up — and demanded a date with her darling divorced daughter, Lisa Marie Presley!

Said My SpyWitness: “This crude old jerk was actually heard saying, ‘Priscilla, now that your daughter’s dumped her husband, how about I get a shot? She’s still pretty hot, so … how’s about you set it up?’ “

Priscilla totally turned to ice, stared the creep down — and totally flash-froze the message ‘Return to Sender’ on his chrome dome!”

BIM:

Mama Bear came out in full swing!

I have seen that cold, dark stare of Priscilla’s when a con artist tried to use her for a publicity stunt, and that stare is very cold but also very honest! Priscilla can hold her own. She can put a grown man in his place in a very classy way!

Go Priscilla!!!!!

Inside Edition – Priscilla Presley stepped out looking fresh-faced in Britain – and fans have had mixed reactions to her new look. Presley, who married Elvis at age 21, has always been known as a great beauty, causing many to gush about her age-defying looks over the decades. “She looks incredible,” said one Twitter user. Another said, “How unbelievably stunning is #PriscillaPresley Woah! 71!!” While some social media users simply asked what happened to her, others were harsher.

“Her face looks like a mask!!! What happened to her?” one person wrote. Another wrote, “Leave the plastic surgery alone Priscilla Presley.” Presley, 71, was talking about her late ex-husband on British TV at the time. The grandmother of two has spoken in the past about having botched plastic surgery. She has said low-grade silicone — similar to what mechanics use to grease car parts — was once injected into her face. Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe told Inside Edition of her new look, “I think this is a relatively recent procedure that she had done because she’s still very swollen. The results are good and she’s going to look better as time goes on and the swelling goes down.”

BIM NOTE to Inside Edition: You cover stories that Donald Trump is so offensive to women for ratings, yet you BASH Priscilla Presley for her looks?

That’s really offensive to women!

She TRUSTED a doctor! And was CONNED!

How DARE you shame her! LYING, CROOKED MEDIA! Hypocrites!

And Les Trent, do I need to embarrass you again?

After all your disrespectful coverage of that awful movie, Elvis and Nixon, how dare you!

I will remind you AGAIN of the time you called into the Howard Stern show like a puppy.

Howard had no clue who you were.

Bababooey had to come in and tell him who you were and still he had no clue.

You annoyed him.

I think he even hung up on you!

I was embarrassed for you!

Many of your stories come from the Stern show. Too bad he was on vacation this week, huh? You had nothing to repeat!

You constantly tweet at Stern fans and mention Stern. But no one cares!

Stick to your good housekeeping stories and reading social media comments about celebrities as news.

I guess Wikileaks is beyond your depth.

A male reporter bashing a wonderful woman who is smart, so down to earth, gracious, an animal lover, and beautiful woman inside and out because she was the VICTIM of a bad doctor. Shame on you!

So Les, why did you not do a story and investigate Priscilla’s plastic surgery and the story behind it? Instead of being passive aggressive as a man and bullying her for her looks?

Les, Did you know that Priscilla was responsible for the supposed doctor who injected her along with other celebrities getting prosecuted?

NO? Ok, let me do your job.

It all started with Lionel Richie’s ex wife who allegedly was friends with this fake plastic surgeon. Richie threw these Botox parties at her home for Hollywood friends. Honestly, if I was Priscilla, I would think I could trust that.

She is (at the time) Lionel Richie’s wife. Dr. Serrano was at the time married (for a green card, allegedly) to Walter Matthau’s niece.

Larry King’s wife, Shawn, who had injections to her lips, temples, smile lines and around her eyes, told investigators that her lower lip developed “an aesthetically displeasing bump” which became hard, making it difficult to drink and speak.

Another woman had HOLES IN HER FACE!

He was allegedly putting what is considered fix a flat in their faces.

Priscilla has had to undergo several procedures SLOWLY to repair her face.

Priscilla was a hero and a real sleuth in finding this doctor and getting him prosecuted.

Lionel Richie’s ex wife was also arrested for helping this fake doctor.

So Les, DO NOT SHAME A WOMAN FOR HER LOOKS!

Even being passive aggressive reading social media comments.

Come on, you are encouraging the BULLYING!

Instead, do some journalism, find the story like I just did. There’s a whole lot more there but I won’t do your job.

Priscilla Presley is a BEAUTIFUL woman INSIDE and OUT! Show some compassion!
